Contract

Between CCFT & the Cabrillo Community College District
July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010

Effective August 24, 2009, the District and CCFT agree to the following interim changes in Faculty Leadership:
1. The Stroke Center/Wellness Program Academic Specialist/Director will be modified to become a Stroke Center/Allied Health Academic Specialist/Director.
- a. During Fall Semester, 2009, the assignment will be 70% Stroke Center Director and 30% Allied Health Director (based on 36 hours per week.)
- b. Beginning Spring Semester 2010 and thereafter, the assignment will be 50% Stroke Center Director and 50% Allied Health Director (based on 36 hours per week.)
- c. In addition, in summer 2010, the Allied Health Director will receive 3 Teaching Units at the academic specialist adjunct rate.
- d. If a summer session is offered, the Stroke Center Director will receive 2.25 adjunct academic specialist Teaching Units during summer session. Some or all of these units may be delegated to another Stroke Center faculty member.
- e. In the event of reductions or elimination of categorical funding for this assignment, Article 15 will apply.
2. Effective February 1, 2010, the District and CCFT agree to the following changes in Faculty leadership:
- The Nursing Program will be removed from the Program Chair Compensation Matrix and be replaced with a full time (36 hours per week) Academic Specialist/ Director.

In addition, the Nursing Director will work each summer and receive 3 TU at the academic specialist adjunct salary rate.
