The District and CCFT agree to the following with regard to Children’s Center teacher, Ismael Cruz, whose categorically-funded position was discontinued at the end of the 2007-08 academic year:
- A. Mr. Cruz will be entitled to District-paid medical benefits through October 31,
2008.
- B. Mr. Cruz may utilize his “unused” District conference funds ($130.95) for training before September 30, 2008.
- C. Mr. Cruz may apply for Cabrillo classified support staff positions via the limited on-
campus promotional process subsequent to the resolution of affected classified
workers through October 31, 2008.
- It is also agreed that these provisions apply only to Ismael Cruz and is neither binding nor precedent setting for any other academic employee at Cabrillo College.
