The Fall semester, 2019, CCFT hosted a bond forum led by, CCFT COPE Chair, Albi Romero, and participating panelist, including: Adam Spickler (Cabrillo Board of Trustees), Bradley Olin (VP Administrative Services), Robin McFarland (Faculty Senate), and William Ow (community leader & former Cabrillo Foundation President). Following the forum a member’s vote was held through a secure online voting system with an overwhelming majority of members’ voted to endorse the bond. Since endorsing the bond, president Tobin W. Keller has been an active volunteer with the Friends of the Cabrillo bond advisory committee helping to raise campaign funding and faculty support. As faculty return to Cabrillo for the Spring semester volunteers are urgently needed for canvassing, farmer’s market tabling, and phone banking.
