Adjuncts: Did you know that you may qualify for unemployment benefits over winter break? Because our work is contingent on enrollments and departmental need we are legally temporary, part-time workers. While you have the option of applying for benefits by yourself (at: http://www.edd.ca.gov/), your Part-Time Committee will host an unemployment filing workshop on Tuesday, May 26 from 10am-12pm in room 516. Be sure to bring all pay information for the preceding 18 months (dating back to December 2013). You can obtain information about your Cabrillo pay at the Business Office in the 2600 building (calling first may expedite the information retrieval: 479-6251).
